Teerasil Dangda was born in July 6, 1988, in Bangkok. Teerasil spent his youth career with Assumption Thonburi Collegefrom 2003 to 2005. The young forward made a debut in Thailand's top division in 2005 after he signed a professional contract with Royal Thai Air Force F.C. Teerasil spent only one season with RTAF club, mainly as substitution and made 6 appearances, scored 3 goals. He moved to Raj Pracha in the next year, he was given more chances than when he was with his former club and made totally 18 appearances with 9 goals. After a full season with Raj Pracha, he joined a division 1club, Muangthong United. He made 15 appearances and scored 7 goals in the first season, 2007–2008, for Muangthong United.
The name of Teerasil became nationwide in the next year when he and fellow international teammates, Suree Sukha andKiatprawut Saiwaeo, were given a chance to take a trial at an English Premier League club, Manchester City. The Citizens under new owner Thaksin Shinawatra, former Thai P.M., offered a trial to the trio in 2007.[1] City signed the trio afterwards, but due to lacking of work permit, they were sent out on loan at a Belgian club, Club Brugge and Swiss's Grasshopper Zurich. The trio did not make a single competitive appearance for City, Club Brugge or Grasshopper Zurich. On October 18, 2008, after almost two years of lacking first team football nightmare, the trio were released from City after work permit application failure. The promising forward returned to his former Thai Premier League club, Muangthong United, which they were competing in the 2009-2010 title race. Teerasil came back with astonishing performances, he became an indespensable member of the club and also for Thailand national team. Many pundits and fans suggested that he has became one of the best footballer in Thailand.
In July 2011, London-based newly promoted Premier League club, QPR, were looking to offer a trial to the Thai forward and reportedly willing to offer a ₤300,000 deal toMuangthong United to make the move permanent if the trial went well.[2] In late 2011, there was also a rumor suggested that an English Championship club, Leicester City, were looking to offer a trial to the Thai star as well.
